Lerøy harvested 51,400 tonnes of salmonids in Norway in Q3

Lerøy Seafood Group, the world’s fourth largest Atlantic salmon farmer, harvested 51,400 gutted weight tonnes of salmon and trout in the third quarter of this year, it said in a trading update today.

The harvest volume is 2,500 gwt lower than in Q3 last year.

Harvest volumes by operating division for Q3 2024 (Q3 2023):

  • Lerøy Aurora (northern Norway): 17,600 gwt (16,500 gwt)
  • Lerøy Midt (central Norway): 16,900 gwt (22,400 gwt)
  • Lerøy Sjøtroll (southern Norway): 16,800 gwt of which 6,800 gwt was trout (14,900 gwt of which 7,100 gwt was trout)

The harvest volume of Scottish Sea Farms, which Lerøy owns 50-50 with world No.2 Atlantic salmon farmer SalMar, are not included in the update.
