Lerøy harvested 158,000 tonnes in 2019
Norwegian salmon farmer Lerøy harvested 42,800 tonnes in the last quarter of 2019, it said in a market update today.
Its total harvest for the year was 158,100 tonnes, a slight drop compared to 2018.
The harvest volumes for Q4 were distributed as follows:
- Lerøy’s activities in central Norway: 14,500 tonnes
- Lerøy Aurora (northern Norway): 13,400 tonnes
- Lerøy Sjøtroll (southern Norway): 14,900 tonnes
The figures do not include contributions from associate company Scottish Sea Farms, which Lerøy co-owns with fellow Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar.
