Smir announces deal at Aqua Nor

Norwegian aquaculture supplier Smir today announced that it has signed a contract with Mowi Scotland for delivery of its waterborne feeding system, Smirfeeder.

Mowi and Smir will cooperate to evaluate energy savings and feeding efficiency with organic diets, said the company.

"We look forward to continuing our cooperation with a highly valued customer, this time within a new segment," said a spokesperson for Smir, which is best known for producing the Hydrolicer to remove sea lice from farmed salmon.
