Poppy Kalesi new EU advisor
NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster and GCE Subsea announce that Poppy Kalesi will join them in the position as EU Advisor.
Poppy will take on the position as EU Advisor on 1 January 2017. She holds a Master of Arts in European Politics and has significant experience from working in the EU Commission in Brussels. Furthermore, she has worked in both the university and private sectors within research, development and innovation (RDI). She will enter into a temporary position initially funded for two years, but with a possibility for a two-year extension.
Kalesi will be working closely with the cluster companies to identify relevant EU calls and to produce top quality applications for project funding.
"Poppy will significantly strengthen the clusters’ EU capacity and contribute with enforcing RDI cooperation in the ocean industries on themes where the clusters are world leading and complement each other. We wish Poppy a very warm welcome to the cluster family", states the Seafood Innovation Cluster in a press release.
