The spot price of Norwegian farmed salmon rose by NOK 3.82 (£0.27) per kilo last week (week 41), up to NOK 65.93/kg. The overall trend over the past four weeks is -0.89 NOK/kg.

The price is NOK 13.02/kg lower than during the same week in 2023.

Export

Norway exported 36,438 tonnes (round weight) of salmon last week. This is 1.71% lower than the week before, but 5.9% more than the same week in 2023.

So far this year, Norway has exported 1.075 million tonnes of salmon, 0.4% less than in the same period a year ago.
