To be located at a site called Colonia Entre Lagos the farm is being planned by Inversiones Futaleufu, and will be located 5 km west of the town of Entre Lagos, in Region of Los Ríos, about 130 km north from Puerto Montt.

The flow-through system will be used to grow salmonids from eyed-eggs to smolts - with three batches of 2,350,000 smolts planned per year - and consent has been granted for up to 780 tonnes of production per year.

Construction is planned to start in mid-November and, when completed, it will employ about 35 workers.
