Overall, the Group harvested 97,000 tonnes, of which 54,000 came from Norway, 12,000 from Canada and 15,000 from Chile.

Operational EBIT for the Group was approximately €110 million, up from €95 million in Q1 2015.

Total operational EBIT per kg through the value chain was: Norway €1.85, thanks in part to a €0.03 contribution per kg from the company’s feed division; Canada €1.95; and Chile €-1.55, where algal blooms wiped out approximately €0.60 per kg.

The full Q1 report is due to be published on 11th May.
