John Arne Breivik, General Manager of Stingray Marine Solutions, which makes the lasers, told kyst.no: “There has been good progress in the discussions and the approach to Scottish companies, so we have now stated that we come to Scotland with our technology during the second or third quarter of this year. In late May we will be at Aquaculture UK in Aviemore and then there have already been several companies who have expressed interest in the idea. We expect and believe that it will be the start of Stingray in Scotland, Ireland and Shetland.”
