New director of Grieg Seafood Shetland

Grieg Seafood ASA has today announced the appointment of Grant Cumming as their new Managing Director of Grieg Seafood Shetland.

- It`s important for us to secure and maintain the new strategy for the region that has been implemented by the management team. With Mr. Cumming taking over the MD role, we will be able to secure continuity in the strategic plan that has been rolled out, says CEO of Grieg Seafood ASA, Andreas Kvame.

Grant Cumming has been working with Grieg Seafood Shetland for the last 12 years.

Mr. Cumming holds a BSc (hons) in Zoology (Marine and Fisheries Biology) from Aberdeen University and an MSc in Mariculture.  He also has considerable practical knowledge of salmon farming gained during his time working with other farming companies.

Pettersen resigns

At the same time Mr. Sigurd Pettersen has announced his resignation as Managing Director, effective 1th December 2016. He will retire from his role as Managing Director leaving behind a successful turnaround of the business since he started in August 2013.
