Winds of change at Gael Force

Inverness-based aquaculture industry supplier Gael Force Group has announced the recent appointment of Paul Engelmann as service manager.

“Paul will manage our team of field service engineers, who travel to our customer sites to install and maintain equipment. As the first point of contact, he will evaluate customer service requests, and arrange for the right engineers to be on-site, ensuring a swift and structured response, and the industry-leading service our customers deserve,” the company said on its website.

Engelmann said Gael Force already offered strong service and support that he planned to develop further.

Fast responses

“Delivering fast and precise responses will allow our customers to spend more time focusing on stock welfare. I’m excited by the prospect of exploring new ways to support customers, including enabling site staff to use our technology to reduce downtime and working with operators to drive a preventative maintenance schedule,” said Engelmann, who spent 23 years as a technician in the RAF before spending the last decade in civilian service management positions.

In another change at Gael Force, Matt Orton, formerly field service and support manager, is stepping into a more hands-on role as mechanical foreman, focusing on new and refurbished barge work.

And company director Craig Graham will now manage all of Gael Force’s mooring operations.
