Aquaculture supplier bids to net 14 new recruits

Inverness-based aquaculture industry supplier Gael Force Group has launched a recruitment drive to fill 14 vacancies. They include the role of export sales manager to push the company’s products and services in international markets.

Gael Force, which currently employs around 170 people, is also seeking a chief technical officer to oversee technical development, strategic direction, and the execution of the company’s product portfolio including product innovation, design, and lifecycle management.

The UK is the company’s core market, but it has also made efforts to expand overseas. In 2019 it opened a service centre in Atlantic Canada, and in 2022 it established Gael Force Europe to serve aquaculture in the Mediterranean.

The company supplies a range of equipment to fish farmers including pens, feed barges and feeding equipment, lighting, cage cameras, moorings, and aeration systems.

It also supplies the commercial fishing, marinas, and leisure marine sectors.
