Continued decline in Norwegian salmon prices

For the fourth week in a row, the Norway spot price has dipped. Now it is in the NOK 80s.

The spot price of salmon fell by NOK 2.58 per kilo last week (week 5), down to NOK 89.33 (£6.39) per kilo. The price has dropped by NOK 40.17 per kilo over the last four weeks.

The price in week 5 of this year was also NOK 17.04/kg below the same week last year.

The average spot price so far this year is NOK 103.94/kg, compared to NOK 105.60/kg a year ago.

Export

Norway exported 25,249 tonnes (round weight) of salmon in week 5. This is 15% more than the same week in 2024.

So far this year, 118,000 tonnes have been exported, 5.6% more than at the same time a year ago.
