Norway salmon spot price increased for the third week in a row

According to salmon industry statistics provider Akvafakta, the spot price of salmon increased by NOK 2.51 per kilo last week (week 48), up to NOK 84.66 (£6.01) per kilo.

That price was NOK 1.68 per kilo better than the same week last year.

The average spot price so far this year is NOK 93.49 per kilo, compared to NOK 92.81 per kilo a year ago.
