Marine Scotland surveys Covid-19 impact on aquaculture

Marine Scotland has launched three separate surveys asking aquaculture, fisheries and recreational fisheries businesses in Scotland about the challenges they have faced as a result of Covid-19.

They are being used to allow the organisation to understand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the sectors.

The surveys, which run until October 12, ask questions about the financial and operational performance of businesses during the pandemic.

The results will be used to help provide a snapshot of the situation in marine industries and to shape future strategies and policies relating to the recovery response.
