Skretting Chile commercial manager moves to Canada
Aquaculture feed producer Skretting has announced that Gastón López, its commercial manager in Chile, will to move to Vancouver to become commercial manager of Skretting North America from the beginning of next year.
López, a marine biologist, spent five years as technical assistant in Skretting Chile, three years in Skretting Australia as technical manager and the last six years as commercial and marketing manager in Chile. He will replace Gavin Shaw, commercial manager of Skretting North America, who will become operations and innovation manager at Skretting Australia.
Ronald Barlow, general manager of Skretting Chile, said in a press release that the change was in line with Skretting’s global vision for its business, and the key role of its employees in this context. “We are proud of our contribution and how we have managed to position Chilean professionals in the global context,” said Barlow. “We wish Gastón the best of experiences and contribution. For now, we are already looking for a replacement.”
Norway-headquartered Skretting, owned by Dutch multinational Nutreco, has production facilities in 20 countries on five continents and employs 3,500 people.
