Video: watch Scottish fish farming’s newest vessel make waves
Dutch workboat builder Nauplius has released a video of Monday’s sideways launch of the Camilla Eslea, the 35-metre delousing vessel ordered by Mull-based Inverlussa Marine Services.
The vessel, which is being fitted out at a Nauplius wharf in Groningen in the Netherlands, will be equipped with a Thermolicer from Scale AQ and will go into service for Mowi Scotland.
Inverlussa managing director Ben Wilson travelled to the Netherlands on Monday and pushed the button to release the boat into the water.

The Camilla Eslea, named after Wilson’s wife, is due for delivery in July and is expected to go straight into service.
The launch was live streamed on the internet by Nauplius.
“This is our first live stream as we normally launch vessels with a crane instead of sideways,” Nauplius owner Gerrit Knol told Fish Farming Expert before the event. “This is our first vessel for Inverlussa but hopefully not our last.”
