Sludge specialist adds to expertise as orders grow
Norwegian fish farming sludge treatment supplier Blue Ocean Technology has hired Canadian Simon Ansell as it expands at home and abroad.
Ansell, who joins Blue Ocean Technology as a service technician, has extensive experience from the aquaculture industry, having worked for Steinsvik / Scale AQ. His experience ranges from installation of feeding systems and network components, start-up of systems and training of customers to problem solving / troubleshooting.
Blue Ocean Technology said Ansell has broad operational international experience from locations such as Iceland, Turkey, Scotland, Canada, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
Dual citizenship
He holds both Canadian and British citizenship.
“As an offensive commitment to the market and our customers, and our long-term plans, we strengthen our staff and welcome Simon into the team,” said the company, which pointed out that it had an increasing number of projects on land and at sea in Norway and in other countries.
