Scottish Salmon Company harvested 33,800 tonnes in 2019
The Scottish Salmon Company produced 33,800 tonnes of fish (head on gutted) last year, according to a trading update.
The volume, which includes 7,900 tonnes in the fourth quarter, was the second highest by a Scotland-farmer, behind Mowi, and demonstrates SSC’s value to its new owner, Bakkafrost.
The Faroese salmon farmer harvested 57,200 tonnes (HOG) in the Faroe Islands in 2019, including 18,000 tonnes in Q4.
