Bakkafrost finance chief resigns
Gunnar Nielsen, chief financial officer of the Faroes’ biggest salmon farmer, Bakkafrost, has handed in his resignation, the company said in a market statement last night.
Bakkafrost has accepted Nielsen’s resignation with regret and is beginning the search for his replacement.
The company has agreed with Nielsen that he will stay on until a new CFO is hired, to ensure a smooth handover.
Nielsen has been with Bakkafrost since late 2014.
