Bakka boosts its fleet

KJ has delivered a new 13x6m catamaran to its fellow Faroese company Bakkafrost.

The 13x6m KJ model 1300-600 vessel, “Selgjógv”, will be based at the salmon producer’s Gøtuvík site. It is the 42nd catamaran built by KJ – numbers 39 and 40, which were both 1400-700 models, were delivered to Cooke Aquaculture in the Shetlands and Orkney respectively.

2 Iveco NEF 400 engines

1 50hp bow thruster

1 6 tonne winch

3  1 tone capstans

1 Palfinger PK23500(M) crane
