Marel opens door to fish factory of the future
Food processing equipment maker Marel will open its Copenhagen demonstration facility to hundreds of salmon processors from around the world on February 5 next year for its annual Salmon ShowHow event.
Marel is offering visitors a full day of demonstrations, guest speakers and seminars.
Demonstrations of integrated solutions, standalone equipment and food processing software will run in a simulated factory environment with real product, focusing on showing visitors how modern technology can help them increase yield, improve the utilisation of raw materials and enable full traceability.
Simulations
Visitors will also have the opportunity to walk through simulations of hi-tech processing facilities in virtual reality.
Speakers and the seminar agenda will be announced closer to the date. Marel said registration for the event will open soon.
