Two men charged over Shetland salmon farm deaths
The incident, where 6000 farmed salmon were thought to have died as a result of the use of an unauthorised chemical used to kill sea lice, happened at Hoganess Salmon on 15 August last year.
The Scottish SPCA and government agencies have been carrying out an investigation into allegations of chemical poisoning.
Two men have been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the inquiry.
Harvesting from the site, which at the time of the incident was own by Marine Farms, was suspended and the company has withdrawn from industry certification schemes run by the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation, Scottish Quality Salmon and Shetland Aquaculture.
