Salmon off the Ikea menu

The Swedish furniture store has decided not to find alternatives to products like Swedish cheese and Norwegian salmon, which will soon run out as a result of the Russian import ban, reports the Moscow Times.

"There will be no compensation because the cheese is specifically Swedish," explains a spokeswoman for the company, Maria Tikhonova.

"We see no reason to replace the Norwegian salmon with any other type because this is a typical Scandinavian product," she adds.
