Key figure

The company said he will also be a key figure in cooperation with technology partner Schneider Electric regarding system development, architecture for monitoring and control (EcoStruxure), preventive maintenance based on machine learning, and customer environmental reporting modules.

Pihlstrøm is a mechanical engineer with a degree in subsea technology with specialisation in instrumentation and 3D modelling.

In a press release, Blue Ocean Technology said the company was growing strongly with increasing numbers of projects on land and at sea at home and abroad.

It added that Pihlstrøm’s appointment was a commitment to the market and its customers, which are primarily fish and post-smolt facilities in Norway, as well as closed grow-out facilities on land and in the sea.

“The Blue Ocean systems are efficient, compact and highly energy-efficient - and an important technology for the development of sustainable farming in closed facilities on land and in the sea,” said the company.
