Norwegian salmon price rose again last week
The spot price of Norwegian salmon continued to creep upwards last week (week 29), figures from industry statistics provider Akvafakta show.
The price in week 29 was NOK 64.93 (35.31) per kilo. That is NOK 0.93 / kg more than the week before and NOK 17.61 above the same week last year, when the price was NOK 47.32 / kg.
Norway exported 27,054 tonnes (round weight) of salmon last week, which is 12.9% more than in the same week in 2020.
So far this year, Norway has exported 737,948 tonnes, which is 16.4% more than at the same time last year.
