Peach joined the Inverness office as commercial director in February, having had more than 30 years of management experience in the wider marine industry.

“David brings a fresh view to leading the management team and taking our business in Scotland and Ireland forward,” said Andrew Campbell, AKVA group regional vice president Americas, Australasia, UK & Ireland, in a statement on the company’s website.

“His enthusiasm for professional business development, and for satisfying the needs of our compact and highly valued customer base will continue to be the primary focus. He will also continue to contribute to the wider aspects of delivering in a competitive marketplace.”

‘Strong team’

Peach said: “We have a strong team covering the UK and Ireland. There is a high degree of activity in the aquaculture industry at present, and the need to deliver the very best technology-based solutions in conjunction with wider equipment infrastructure available from AKVA Group, provides additional growth potential for 2020 and beyond.

“I am delighted to take on this role, working with a great team, supporting the dynamic needs of the aquaculture industry here in Scotland and Ireland.”

AKVA group Scotland’s previous general manager, Jason Cleaversmith, parted company with the group earlier this year.
