Peach has more than 25 years’ experience in the marine industry and arrives at AKVA from a position as group sales director at 3Si, Safety and Survival Systems International.

Prior to joining 3Si he was the international market director with Henri Lloyd, developing the distribution network to over 42 markets and rapidly accelerating the brand profile.

He has completed the Export Management Training Programme at Glasgow University Business School.

New opportunities

In a press release, Inverness-based AKVA group Scotland – which now employs more than 70 people – said Peach’s role will be to lead the commercial organisation in delivering profitable sales while ensuring that its customer service and support continue to be ‘best in class’.

He will actively explore new commercial opportunities for AKVA group Scotland and seek to monetise these over the coming period.

Robust sales team

AKVA group Scotland general manager Jason Cleaversmith said: “David’s strong sales background will bring great value to AKVA group Scotland as it continues to develop and thrive within the UK industry, as well as allowing us to develop our international business.”

Peach said: “I’m delighted to be joining the AKVA team and building strong relationships with customers and developing a robust sales team, along with ensuring that excellence in customer service and the supply of innovative and high-quality products is maintained.”
