CageEye joins Chilean aquatech cluster

Oslo-based CageEye, which uses sonar to observe fish behaviour for optimal feeding, is part of the Puerto Varas-based Acuicola Innovation Club, a cluster of companies offering innovative aquaculture products and services.

“We will work together, both with each other and with leading companies and people in coastal communities, to promote technology-led developments of the aquaculture sector as well as of the economy more broadly,” said CageEye’s international business development director, Dr Sunil Kadri.

“Through collaboration, we expect to develop good practices that will improve both the efficiency of aquaculture and the health and welfare of fish in cages, and these solutions will be relevant to both local and international companies.”

Working together

Oslo-based CageEye uses hydroacoustic technology and machine learning to observe fish behaviour for optimal feeding. It has joined the Acuicola Innovation Club, a cluster of companies offering innovative aquaculture products and services, which is based in Puert Varas, northern Patagonia, Chile.
