Ace Aquatec casts its net wider
New sales hire will use EMEA experience to expand customer base
Aquaculture technology developer Ace Aquatec has announced the appointment of Costa Skotidas as sales and partnerships manager, to spearhead its EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) operations.
The Dundee-based company said that following recent growth in countries including Greece and Denmark, Skotidas will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s expansion into further European markets as well as the introduction into the Middle East and Africa.
Skotidas has more than 15 years of experience in the aquaculture and technology industry, having previously worked as EMEA advertising account manager for aquaculture news website IntraFish.
New clients
As part of his role, Skotidas will be developing and executing all EMEA strategic sales plans which include identifying potential new clients within Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as expanding Ace Aquatec’s current client base.
The company’s products include an award-winning in-water electric stunner / culler, offshore marine protection deterrents for seals, porpoises, and fish, and acoustic and electric startle response predator deterrents.
It has also been developing automated waterjet bleeding, gentle contactless fish pumping, and 3D biomass cameras systems.
Distribution network
