Loch Duart puts staff in the picture for 20th anniversary
Sutherland and Hebrides salmon farmer Loch Duart has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a staff celebration and a commemorative book.
More than 100 of Loch Duart’s team attended the recent anniversary event at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness.
A copy of the anniversary book, which features specially-taken photos of each of the company’s 110 staff, will also be given to everyone on the payroll.
The book also includes location shots from the Uists and Sutherland.
‘Extraordinary people’
Loch Duart co-founder and sales director, Andy Bing, said: “Loch Duart is a company rich in history and full of extraordinary people.
“Our story over the last 20 years is one of continued growth and success and we take great pride in being an independent, multi award-winning Scottish company. We’re not standing still and have ambitious plans to grow and prosper over the coming years.”
Loch Duart harvests around 5,000 tonnes of salmon annually and has been actively searching for more sites in which to expand.
Much of its produce goes to the restaurant market at home and abroad.
The Scottish Government owns more than 25% of the company through Scottish Enterprise.
